By accessing or using the BOAME emergency response platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

Service Description

BOAME provides an emergency response platform that connects users with emergency services including police, fire, and ambulance services in Ghana. Our services include one-tap emergency calling, live location tracking, incident reporting, and emergency contact notifications.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate personal and emergency contact information
• Use the service only for legitimate emergencies
• Do not make false or prank emergency reports
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Allow location access when requesting emergency assistance
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Submit false emergency reports or hoax alerts
• Abuse or harass emergency responders or other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Disclaimer of Warranties

BOAME is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, especially during network outages or technical issues. Emergency response times depend on multiple factors including responder availability and location.

Limitation of Liability

BOAME and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. This includes but is not limited to delays in emergency response, service outages, or data loss.

Emergency Services

BOAME facilitates connection to emergency services but does not directly provide emergency response. Response times and availability depend on local emergency services. In life-threatening situations, you should always call local emergency numbers (191, 192, 193) directly if the app is unavailable.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
